Our Warranty

New York Shower Door hardware and hinges, handles and towel bars are warranted against mechanical defects for a period of 1 year from the installation of your door. Wearing diamond rings or having acrylic nails can also cause damage and scratch glass and hardware.

Polycarbonate sweeps, seals and doorstops are applied with a 3M adhesive tape as needed, are also covered for a 1 year period. Replacing these items is considered routine maintenance and the owners responsibility after the 1 year period.

Glass can not be warranted - it is tempered safety glass manufactured in accordance with Federal Safety Standards (Consumer Products safety code 16 CEFR11201H). It is much stronger than regular annealed glass however still breakable, avoid striking with any sharp objects, Such damage can cause either immediate or delayed breakage. (Usually happens with a temperature change.) If it breaks it will break instantly into many tiny pieces. It is startling when it happens, but again much safer than regular glass.

ANY DAMAGE RESULTING FROM MISUSE AND/ OR ABUSE OR LACK OF CARE WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.

Shower Doors are not water tight. When properly installed they are designed to prevent leaks under normal showering conditions. Excessive water pressure or directing the water spray towards the door on hinges is not considered normal showering conditions. Proper design and placement of the shower head, body sprays and hand held showers are key to preventing leakage.
